Blue Mountain Cottages offer you accommodation amidst good old-fashioned farm life in New Zealand; just five minutes from Te Anau.

This is great family accommodation. There is plenty of room for children to run around safely and animals to enjoy.

Phil and Fiona’s passion is self sufficiency, hunting, cooking and gardening. Homemade baking is in the cottage upon your arrival.



This 20 acre property is intensively farmed, producing beef, lamb, pork/bacon, eggs, milk and vegetables.

Phil hunts wild deer in the Fiordland mountains and venison steaks are available for you to cook on the barbecue. Fresh vegetables and home grown meat are available in season.

Phil and Fiona also own and operate RD Fuel and On the Spot Express, and Te Anau Storage Solutions. Call in to fuel up your vehicle at RD Service Station, located at the top end of the main street by Lake Te Anau.
